Alusite was founded in the year 2000 by Mr Lay-Tee Loh, a graduate professional mechanical engineer from Canterbury University NZ, who has spent over 20 years in the aluminium industries from smelting, casting, extruding, rolling to fabricating and product design.
Over the years Mr Loh has taken leading roles in the industry across the continents at Comalco R&D Melbourne (now Rio Tinto), New Zealand Aluminium Smelting, Commonwealth Aluminium USA and Hertwich Engineering Austria (part of German SMS group). Mr Loh has also published several technical papers at the 4th Australasian Asia-Pacific Casting technology conference at Sydney.
Alusite began its modest beginning with only 8 workers specializing in aluminium fabricated products. By 2007 the company has grown to a workforce of 200, occupying 4000m2 of factory space and exporting to 20 countries around the world. With a dedicate team of sales, production and technical personnel, we have been working with end users and providing solution to the building industry around the world.
Base on hard work, honesty and serving our customers diligently, we strive to balance between profitability, social and environmental responsibility. Putting our word into practice, we support various orphanages in Thailand and provide scholarship to our employee’s immediate family.
Base on the above principles, we strive to work out what we could uniquely provide to the society, not just growth or money, but also respect for all parties and the ability to satisfy both the shareholders and employee.
